Kim Woo-bin Repays Fan Whose Request Led to His Perfume Endorsement

Actor Kim Woo-bin is winning over fans again, this time with a quiet thank-you gesture. After gifting a fan his own perfume last year, he later became the face of the same brand. Now he is returning the favor by personally buying gifts for the fans who started it all.

On Oct. 6, a fan who goes by A shared a video showing Kim Woo-bin signing autographs after an event before walking toward his car. In the clip, he tells the group, "I have a gift I bought to give you," before heading to his vehicle.

He pulled a shopping bag from the trunk and handed it to A. "I wanted to give this to you because I'm so grateful that I got to film the ad thanks to you," he said. "I've been carrying it around in my car wondering when I'd see you."

The gift was a product from the perfume brand Kim Woo-bin is currently promoting. He had also prepared enough gifts for the other fans at the scene. "I didn't get these for free. I bought them myself. Don't get the wrong idea," he explained with a smile.

The story traces back to a fan signing event last year. When A asked him to recommend a perfume that would suit her, Kim Woo-bin gave her the fragance he was personally using at the time. The moment went viral online, and he was later signed on as a model for that same perfume brand. He mentioned the story himself in an interview last year.

Netizens responded warmly to the exchange, leaving comments such as "This is touching," "His character is unreal," and "He's a truly thoughtful person."
