NMIXX's Haewon Reveals Her New Ideal Image Amid Weight Loss Concerns

NMIXX's Haewon, whose noticeably slimmer appearance has been a topic of discussion among fans in recent months, has shared a change in her personal style preferences that may offer some insight into her recent transformation.

On Oct. 20, Korean streamer Looksam uploaded a video titled "My Longtime Wish Came True," featuring NMIXX members Lily and Haewon. During the video, Haewon spoke about how her ideal image has changed as she has gotten older.

She recalled wanting to sport short, bleached hair and pursue an edgy, hip-hop-inspired look when she was around 20 or 21. However, she said people often told her that the style did not suit her.

Now, with her 25th birthday approaching next year, Haewon said her ideal image has shifted toward that of a more mature woman. She pointed to Girls' Generation's Yuri as an example, joking that she would have to tone down her playful personality to pull off the look.

Her remarks come after months of online discussion about her weight loss. Fans had noticed her slimmer appearance as early as September, with some expressing concern over how quickly she appeared to have lost weight.

Although Haewon did not directly link her weight loss to her changing style preferences, her comments offered fans a possible glimpse into the image she has been working toward.

Meanwhile, NMIXX released their sixth mini-album, "Strange Muse," on Oct. 19, led by the title track "Birthday Wish."
