SEVENTEEN's DINO Releases New Single 'AUTOMATIC'

SEVENTEEN member DINO is back with a new solo song. His single "AUTOMATIC" drops on the 3rd at 6 p.m. KST.

"AUTOMATIC" is about the feelings that come with being next to someone you love. DINO helped write both the lyrics and the music. In the song, he describes a love that starts naturally and the excitement that comes with it.

Producer Jintae Ko is also credited on the track. Ko has worked on a Grammy Award-winning project.

Fans have already heard the song. DINO first performed "AUTOMATIC" at "2026 DINO X Pi Cheol-in [吉BOARD SHOW]," held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. The track is built on a rhythmic bass line and guitar. On stage, he switched between singing-rap and falsetto. Fans hearing it for the first time cheered throughout.

The new single adds to a solo career DINO has been building for years. He has kept releasing solo music since his 2021 mixtape, "Wait."

In August, he put out his first EP, "吉BOARD" (Gilboard), under Pi Cheol-in, an alter ego character. The project let him try genres and concepts that are different from his work with SEVENTEEN.

With "AUTOMATIC," DINO keeps showing a side of himself that sits apart from the group, and he is writing much of it himself.
