The Black Label has not revealed a single member of its upcoming boy group, but fans are already counting down to the debut.

Recent industry reports suggested that the agency led by producer Teddy is preparing to launch its first boy group in the first half of 2027, with spring emerging as the most likely debut window. Although the lineup, musical direction and exact debut date remain unknown, the reports quickly gained traction across online communities and social media platforms such as X and TikTok. Fans have been exchanging theories about the members and speculating about what Teddy's first boy group under The Black Label might look like.

Fan accounts dedicated to the project have already begun appearing online, with many referring to the group simply as "TBLNBG," short for The Black Label New Boy Group. Despite the lack of official information, fans are actively discussing rumored trainees, potential standout members and possible concepts.

The buzz has been especially noticeable on TikTok, where hashtags such as #TBLNBG and #blacklabelboygroup have gathered millions of views. Videos discussing the rumored spring debut regularly attract tens of thousands of views, while clips featuring rumored trainees have gained particular attention, with one dance video surpassing 300,000 views. Even before an official lineup has been announced, interest in the group continues to grow.

Much of the excitement stems from The Black Label's recent success with its idol groups. Girl group MEOVV has steadily gained momentum since debuting, and its latest comeback only strengthened that rise. Rather than following the easy-listening trend that has dominated recent charts, "DDI RO RI" took a bolder approach with its unconventional sound and confident attitude. The song still found a wide audience, with fans praising its addictive hook, strong performances and distinctive character. For many, the comeback was another reminder that The Black Label can succeed while sticking to its own style.

The momentum continued with ALLDAY PROJECT. The co-ed group's debut drew attention from the start because of its unconventional lineup and genre-blending sound. Instead of following familiar formulas, the group carved out its own lane and quickly built a loyal following. Their strong chart performance and growing fandom have further strengthened confidence in The Black Label's approach to artist development.

As a result, expectations for the upcoming boy group are already unusually high. Comments such as "The Black Label never misses," "TBL boy group is going to be huge," and "If Teddy is producing, I'm already sold" frequently appear across social media. Others hope the group will bring something different to the increasingly crowded fifth-generation boy group market, whether through a stronger hip-hop identity, performance-focused music or an entirely new sound.

Fans are especially curious to see what direction Teddy will take with his first boy group after helping shape the careers of some of K-pop's biggest acts, including BIGBANG, 2NE1 and BLACKPINK. With so little known about the group, the mystery itself has become part of the appeal, and many are eager to see what The Black Label unveils next.
