JYP Entertainment has expanded its presence within the global music industry after 20 of its artists and executives were invited to join the Recording Academy, the organization behind the Grammy Awards.

Founder and Chief Creative Officer J.Y. Park, all nine members of TWICE, and all eight members of Stray Kids have been selected as Voting Members, allowing them to participate in the Grammy Awards voting process. Voting Membership is reserved for active music creators, including artists, songwriters, producers and engineers.

JYP CEO Jung Wook and Chief Strategy Officer and JYP America CEO Shin Hyun-kook were also invited as Professional Members, a category for music industry executives who support creators and contribute to the Academy's programs, community and awards process.

The Recording Academy, founded in 1957, is one of the music industry's leading organizations and has presented the Grammy Awards since 1959. Each year, it invites new members to broaden the diversity and expertise of its global community.

The recognition follows another milestone year for JYP. Earlier this year, J.Y. Park, Jung Wook and Shin were named to Billboard's Power 100 and Global Power Players lists, while TWICE and Stray Kids continued to strengthen their international presence through chart achievements, sold-out world tours and major global releases.
