J.Y. Park to Return With Summer Single 'WET'

J.Y. Park will return with the digital single "WET" on July 23, marking his first summer release in six years.

According to JYP Entertainment, the song has been selected as the official theme track for Waterbomb 2026. Described as a reggae-inspired summer anthem, "WET" is J.Y. Park's first seasonal release since "When We Disco," his 2020 collaboration with Sunmi.

Ahead of the release, the singer previewed part of the track through a dance challenge on social media, with artists including WJSN's Dayoung, Billlie, 82MAJOR, Kiss of Life, MADEIN and KickFlip taking part. He also shared challenge videos with RESCENE member Minami, drawing attention online.

J.Y. Park is set to perform at both the Seoul and Busan editions of Waterbomb 2026, returning to the festival after making headlines last year with his stage performance and distinctive styling. He recently hinted that this year's stage outfit would be "even bolder" than before.

"WET" will be released at 6 p.m. KST on July 23 as J.Y. Park prepares for another round of summer festival performances.
