BTS Expands 'THE CITY ARIRANG' Experience Across New York With Landmark Activations
BTS has unveiled additional attractions for "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – NEW YORK," an immersive citywide event that will transform landmarks across Manhattan into fan experiences beginning July 24.
Among the newly announced highlights is a takeover of Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, where the observation deck will be decorated in the signature red color of BTS' upcoming album "ARIRANG." A large album logo will also be installed on the outdoor terrace overlooking the New York skyline.
The campaign extends beyond iconic landmarks. A special Big Bus Tours route will operate through Aug. 9, connecting key event locations including Times Square, the Empire State Building and Koreatown while playing BTS music onboard. At the Korean Cultural Center New York, visitors can watch "KEEP SWIMMING," a short documentary featuring the group's dance practice footage and the message behind the title track "SWIM."
Additional programs include K-food collaborations with local restaurants, random play dance events and fan activities at Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall, where an "ARMY MADANG" space will feature costume displays and interactive experiences.
Bank of Hope will also participate through a stamp rally campaign, donating $1 to financial education initiatives for every visitor check-in at its Manhattan branch.
