BTS Returns to Billboard Hot 100 With 'NORMAL'

BTS continued its strong run on the Billboard charts this week, with "NORMAL" returning to the Hot 100 while the group's fifth studio album "ARIRANG" surged back into the Billboard 200 top 10.

According to the latest Billboard charts dated Aug. 1, "NORMAL" re-entered the Hot 100 at No. 33 after previously spending three weeks on the chart earlier this year. The renewed momentum follows the release of the song's music video and Korean version on July 17.

"ARIRANG" climbed 17 places to No. 9 on the Billboard 200, marking the biggest jump on this week's chart. The album has now spent 13 weeks in the top 10, extending the record for the longest top-10 run by a Korean album. Billboard reported that the album moved roughly 40,000 equivalent units, up 62 percent from the previous week.

Elsewhere, "NORMAL" reached a new peak of No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200 and topped the Digital Song Sales chart. The renewed interest also lifted "Dynamite" back onto the Global Excl. U.S. chart following BTS' FIFA World Cup halftime show performance. The group resumes its world tour with concerts at MetLife Stadium in New York on Aug. 1 and 2.
