CORTIS Hits 4 Million Sales With 'GREENGREEN'

CORTIS' second EP, "GREENGREEN," has surpassed 4 million cumulative album sales, becoming only the second K-POP album released this year to reach the mark.

According to Circle Chart's latest weekly album chart, covering Sept. 6 to 12, "GREENGREEN" has sold approximately 4.1 million copies. BTS' "ARIRANG" is the only other album released in South Korea this year to surpass 4 million sales on the chart.

Released in May, "GREENGREEN" recorded 2.31 million copies in first-week sales on Hanteo Chart, more than five times the 436,467 copies posted by CORTIS' debut EP. It passed 3 million cumulative sales on Circle Chart in July before adding another million copies over the following two months.

The album has also maintained a lengthy run in the U.S., debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and remaining on the chart for 18 consecutive weeks.

CORTIS' debut EP, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," has meanwhile sold more than 2.3 million copies, bringing the group's combined sales from its first two EPs to over 6.4 million.
