NMIXX Proves Six Voices Are All They Need for 'Strange Muse'

NMIXX has offered a first listen to its upcoming sixth EP, "Strange Muse," through an a cappella highlight medley featuring all six members.

Released Oct. 11, the video previews three tracks from the album, including title song "Birthday Wish," "Kerosene" and "RudE TaLK."

Dressed in black, Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin perform short sections of each song without instrumental accompaniment, relying entirely on their vocals and harmonies.

The a cappella medley has become a recurring part of NMIXX's comeback promotions, allowing the group to introduce new music through vocal arrangements before revealing the full studio versions.

"Strange Muse" will also feature the group's first unit tracks, with members participating in the songwriting process. Lily and Haewon team up for "Sing to the Moon," while Sullyoon and Bae perform "Hot 'n Unbothered." Jiwoo and Kyujin complete the unit lineup with "WHIP."

The three unit songs were not included in the a cappella preview.

NMIXX will release "Strange Muse" on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
