BTS Takes Latin America by Storm With 853,000 Fans Across 5 Cities

BTS has completed the Latin American leg of its "ARIRANG" World Tour, drawing approximately 853,000 fans across 14 sold-out concerts in five cities.

The tour began in Bogotá on Oct. 2 before traveling to Lima, Santiago and Buenos Aires, concluding with three shows at São Paulo's Morumbi Stadium on Oct. 28, 30 and 31.

The concerts marked BTS' first full-group performances in Colombia and Argentina, as well as its first visit to Peru. The group also returned to Chile after nine years and Brazil after seven.

The setlist combined songs from the group's fifth studio album, "ARIRANG," with earlier hits including "FAKE LOVE," "MIC Drop," "FIRE," "Butter" and "Dynamite."

The tour also brought increased tourism and spending to host cities.

According to a local study, visitors attending the Buenos Aires-area concerts spent an estimated 53 billion Argentine pesos on accommodation, transportation and other expenses, excluding tickets.

In Bogotá, flight bookings increased 46.6% year-on-year during the concert period, while accommodation searches in Santiago rose approximately 200%.

BTS will next begin its Asian tour in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Nov. 19, followed by additional stops across Asia and Australia.
