ILLIT Makes Japan's Year-End Music Festival Lineup for Third Straight Year
ILLIT is set to return to Japan's annual FNS Music Festival for the third consecutive year, continuing its run of appearances on the country's major year-end music programs.
According to BELIFT LAB on Nov. 3, the five-member group will perform during the first night of Fuji TV's "2026 FNS Music Festival" on Dec. 2.
ILLIT has appeared at the year-end event every year since 2024, even before its official Japanese debut. The group also participated in this year's summer edition.
The announcement follows several milestones in Japan.
Debut single "Magnetic" received Triple Platinum streaming certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan after surpassing 300 million streams, while "Almond Chocolate" earned Platinum certification with 100 million streams.
Meanwhile, "It's Me," released in April, remains on Japan's charts, ranking No. 9 on Oricon's weekly streaming chart dated Nov. 2.
ILLIT also completed its first Japanese tour, drawing approximately 60,000 fans across sold-out shows. An encore concert is scheduled for December at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba.
The group's latest single, "I'll Arrest You," is also gaining momentum internationally, climbing to No. 12 on Apple Music's global daily chart on Nov. 1.
